Climate Tribunal by Paolo Cirio addresses climate justice from an economic and legal perspective. At the core of this installation lie glaciers, extremely fragile, delicate, and critical ecosystems for the living species and humans, which particularly suffer from the actions of multinational fossil fuel corporations.

The installation consists of three separate works: the sculptural work Alps Glaciers Memorial serves as a symbol to remember glaciers that are melting due to global warming by listing their thousands of names; Climate Ecosystems Plaintiffs displays photographs of glaciers around the world on a semi-transparent fabric; and finally, Climate Culpable exhibits flags featuring the logos of some firms responsible for more than 50 percent of global emissions, blackened by Cirio with motor oil to urge the public to reflect on the principles these companies have adopted and demand that they should be held accountable for the damage they have caused.
